What a wonderful start to the week. We were made very welcomed by all the staff at St Rita's. Shane, AP Administration was a great support today. He didn't stop all day. ......Three duties I counted. It was great to be able to sit in and see A Monday morning assembly, a tour around the beautiful school and it's grounds were amazing. We were able to participate in a music session with a very talented music teacher who involved all of us in his teaching , singing, dancing and playing a musical instrument. We even were able to dibble in some Japanese language. I will always remember the colour Green in Japanese. Do you think you might know why? have a think!
It is amazing where ever you go you will run into people that have a connection to Lismore. We met David and Lynne Kenyon's son, a teacher who went to STMary's College in Lismore with my younger sister, and a another teacher who did her prac with Joy Ryan over at Our Lady Help of Christains. Our afternoon session we were able to met with Anne the Principal and share ideas and practices in all our schools.
Looking forward to what tomorrow will bring. I am so lucky to have three great ladies to enjoy my experiences with.
